Oh hai, merry xmas!
It was last Sunday, it was very cold and I was very much hungover so I spent the whole day at home snuggled on the sofa listening to soothing music.
I put on the Say Yes Diskomix.
When it came to 1h17 I immediately emailed Nadia to ask her what that track was. OMG, Gino Soccio! So banging!
Possibly sexier than Sébastien T.
A hot track perfect for a cold cold night.

So yeah, it’s been a little bit more than a year than I’ve been back in Paris now, and now I’m still doing some boring temping, and I still haven’t found a real ‘grown up’ job. I mean wtf, when am I ever gonna be lucky?
Thank god there are other things keeping me sane, like future travel plans, listening to banging music, reading amazing books, arthur’s dance moves, sushi nights, you know the deal.
In the meantime, hello London!

Life’s good, winter has kind of started even though it’s not really there yet-and it’s all about long walks and coffee and controversial books and imaginary animals.
After Berlin a couple of months ago, now it’s time for me to hit London and check out my peeps out there and do some major shopping.

There are tracks that immediately take me back to a certain time, and when “Credit” by Ariel Pink comes on my stereo I can not help thinking about the summer of 2005. It reminds me of hanging out at Millers Terrace, the parties at Plastic People, smoking in Abney Park Cemetary with D and B, Stoke Newington, Dalston, the pizza at Il Bacio; I was happy and hadn’t had my heart broken too much and mostly I looked like the picture above.
