Souviens-toi

It was last Sunday, it was very cold and I was very much hungover so I spent the whole day at home snuggled on the sofa listening to soothing music.
I put on the Say Yes Diskomix.
When it came to 1h17 I immediately emailed Nadia to ask her what that track was. OMG, Gino Soccio! So banging!

Cookies au chocolat

DSCN1905

Yeah I know Saturday night fun with alcohol, cigarettes and dirty talk is long gone; it’s like Sunday night and I should probably be posting to chill out to, but whatevs.
So stupid and over the top it works.

We are your friends

P1020811-pola

When I feel like going to a club or listen to some good bangers at home, I know there’s one person to call and that is Romain. Yeah I should totally pay respect to my friends more. Here are some tunes that we share/remind me of good vibes.

Don Rimini – Nervous Breakdown

Agoria – Code 1026

Shadow Dancer – Soap

Suicide Club – Sous Acides Club (Shadow Dancer Remix)

Faux-pas

P1020753

There’s a track that I like but I’m not sure whether I really should.

It’s ‘fa-fa-fa’ by Datarock.

So catchy, so good for getting ready in the morning! Then what do I have the feeling that this song is also a bit cheesy?

Surely with a name like Datarock, there has to be something wrong with this band. . .

Bad girls need love too

P1040241
My grandmother used to say to me, “I keep my enemies close, but my friends even closer”. (She also used to say a lot of stuff along the lines of “always have your hair nicely done” or “the more when you go after a man, the more he will try to avoid you”)

As a kid I didn’t really understand why she would say that, but as I grew up I totally got the meaning of the sentence, and especially when I lived in London it became relevant.
I love this track so much still and always put it on at parties; it reminds me of all the times I sort of got into fights with girls. Now I’m older and wiser I guess I won’t be doing that anymore.
